MBI Adds New Partner for Log Cabin & Second Home Insurance

Metro Brokers Insurance is excited to announce a new agreement with Safeco Insurance to write personal lines of insurance. Safeco is a division of Liberty Mutual Insurance, sold exclusively through independent agents. Safeco joins MBI's current stable of carriers including Travelers, Encompass, Progressive and Southern Mutual among others.

One of the biggest advantages of the new Safeco contract is that MBI will be able to write approved log cabin risks, especially in the North Georgia Mountains. In addition, Safeco writes secondary residences without having the primary home insured. This is very important, for instance, when someone from out of state buys a seasonal home. Or if the secondary home is a log cabin and their primary insurance company will not insure log homes.
