MCCRARY STARTS STRONG IN NEW CAREER

Jasmine McCrary, new sales associate out of the Rockdale/Newton office, went from the Metro Brokers Academy Pre-License Course classroom to the closing table in less than four months.

McCrary got into real estate in March after being laid off for the second time. She combined her loves of working with people and viewing real estate properties to finally make a career out of something she really enjoyed. After attending the Pre-License course at the Metro Brokers Academy, McCrary felt that Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers had the staff and experience to help her become successful.

As a new BHGRE Metro Brokers agent, McCrary began the MBA (Metro Brokers Advantage) program. While completing the assignment of contacting her sphere of influence to announce her recent affiliation with BHGRE Metro Brokers, McCrary was hired by a former co-worker. One day while she was out with this client, they returned to a property to find a couple in the driveway asking to see the property. Using her training, McCrary asked them if they were working with an agent. The couple stated that no, they were not, so, with the permission of her current client, she proceeded to show them the property.

Although the couple did not like that particular property, she got their contact information and followed up with them a few days later. After viewing multiple properties, McCrary was able to find the couple a home that met all their requirements and fell in their price range. Offer accepted, she proceeded to close the sale on July 19th.

Broker Support was invaluable to Jasmine during this closing, as the buyer was purchasing the home with cash. “They were really helpful and supportive, even when I had to call two or three times in one day,” McCrary stated. “I just didn’t want to make any mistakes and they ensured I didn’t.” McCrary also valued the support of her office manager, Sandi Rodrick, who was her cheerleader and coach.

After the closing, McCrary continued her connection with her buyers by purchasing them a subscription to Better Homes and Gardens magazine. “After they received it, they called and thanked me and also asked me to find them an investment property.”

Now, McCrary can say she truly enjoys what she is doing. “I am so thankful that I chose a broker that cares about the success of their agents and that invests so much into preparing agents with the tools and knowledge needed to be successful. I have learned so much from the MBA instructors, Broker Support, my coach Michael McFadden, and so many others. This group of people is focused on preparing agents for success. Preparation + Opportunity = Success and Kevin Levent has created the perfect environment for me to follow this formula and realize my full potential. Take the classes, apply the learning, and see the results.”
