FRANCISCO AND KNOX APPEAR ON “PERSPECTIVE” TV SHOW

Due to their involvement in Toastmasters – a nationally recognized public speaking organization – Patty Francisco and Mysti Knox of the McDonough office were recently interviewed on the “Perspective” TV show. Airing on Channel 15 on the Charter Network, the show concentrates on current topics and is hosted by Susan Smithgall, Dana Lemon, Julia Kelly and Denese Rogers.

The show will have multiple airings daily this week.

Francisco and Knox were interviewed about Toastmasters in general: Their club Premier South, the benefits of being a toastmaster, how it has helped them as Realtors and so forth. After sending a press release announcing their last induction ceremony, they were invited to be on the show.

“The Henry Herald, although invited to attend our induction ceremony, could not attend that day,” explained Francisco. “However, the press release was written up. This was about a year ago. Perspective had a cancellation and needed to cover a story and called us. The ‘seed’ was planted a year ago and although what we originally wanted did not occur, a bigger door opened in ‘due season’!”

Francisco and Knox were chosen to appear on the show due to their titles of President and Secretary of the club, respectively. Several other agents are part of the Premier South Toastmasters Club including Travis Williams (Seargent at Arms), Beverly Curry (Treasurer), Alison Walker Grant (VP of Education and Area 4 Governor), Carolyn Brown and Ruby Smith.

“Toastmasters definitely increased my confidence in speaking with people and presenting, but the confidence is what has increased my business!” said Mysti Knox.
