DRAKE AWARDED METRO SOUTH REALTOR® OF THE YEAR

Brianne Drake of the Stockbridge office receives her REALTOR of the Year plaque from the Metro South Board of REALTORS®.

Brianne Drake of the Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers’ Stockbridge office was recently awarded REALTOR® of the Year from Metro South Board of REALTORS® (MSAR). As a result, she now moves on to the state level as a nominee for GAR’s REALTOR of the Year.

Drake won this award as a result of her local, state, and national involvement. She’s a State Director, Vice President of Member Services, and Chair of the Education Committee for the MSAR. She’s also the District 13 REALTORS® Political Action Committee Trustee Alternate and Chair of Affinity Partners Sub Committee for the Georgia Association of REALTORS®. In addition, she helps out in her community by volunteering at events such as the Help for Homeowners Housing Summit and the Clayton County Housing Rally to name a few.

Through MSAR and GAR, Drake has been able to speak directly to State and National Representatives and Senators about the issues plaguing REALTORS® in today’s market. She recently visited Capitol Hill where she met with several Congressmen about Preserving Home Ownership Tax Benefits (Mortgage Interest Deduction), The Future of the Secondary Market, Access to Affordable Mortgage Products (20% Down Payment), Affordable and Available Property Insurance, Prompt Decision for Qualification for Short Sale Act, among other issues.

Drake has been a licensed REALTOR® for 13 years, 11 of those with BHGRE Metro Brokers. She works with both sellers and buyers and specializes in HUD properties, short sales, foreclosures and first time homebuyers. Drake is also involved with various down payment assistant programs, Neighborhood Stabilization Programs, GA Dream Program, County Grant Programs and others. Throughout her career, she’s also received the J.L. Christian Leadership Award, 100% Customer Satisfaction Award, Top Individual Sales Associate for the Stockbridge Office, Summit Club and Distinction Awards, Service Diamond Award, Quality Service Certified Platinum Level Award. Drake was also featured in the Real Estate Magazine Top 50 'Realtors on the Rise' Magazine.
