ANTOINE APPOINTED NAR’S FPC TO SCOTT

The National Association of Realtors® recently appointed Ennis Antoine of the Perimeter office as NAR’s Federal Political Coordinator (FPC) for U.S. Congressman David Scott in the 112th Congress. In this important role, Antoine will work closely with Scott and his staff to educate them on NAR’s positions on issues that impact the real estate industry.

“This appointment means a lot because I have a voice that will be heard and it will allow me to help protect the industry that I love,” said Antoine. “When the calls for action come, we are given the facts and effects that it will have on the industry and I can take action. The feeling that I have after we have defeated and/or passed a bill is priceless.”

Responsibilities of the FPC include:

  • Respond to all NAR Calls for Action
  • Advocate on behalf of all Realtors and the Realtor party
  • Submit quarterly field reports to assigned member of Congress
  • Participate in training in Washington, D.C.
  • Attend conferences and meetings

Antoine has been an active member of both NAR and the Realtors Political Action Committee for years, and is excited to take on this new role in the Realtor community.
