AGENTS “REBOOTED” AT INMAN NEWS EVENT LAST WEEK

Last week, Inman News’ 24-city tour swung into Atlanta for its Agent Reboot event. Held at the downtown Sheraton Hotel, Agent Reboot played host to hundreds of real estate agents as well as industry experts from across the country. In fact, agents came from as far as Kentucky, Alabama and Tennessee to take part in the educational event.

Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Metro Brokers had one of the largest showings among real estate companies with approximately 75 sales associates appearing at the event. BHGRE had a booth in the vendor section and was featured throughout the event due to its National Platinum Sponsor status.

There were a variety of presentations focusing on mobile, social, video, blogging and other cutting-edge technologies and how they relate to real estate. Plus, sales associates were treated to a continental breakfast and prize giveaways. In fact, our own Joann Herrell of the Douglasville office won a Kodak PlayTouch Digital Video Camera!

However, some of the most interesting presentations of the day came from Sherry Chris, President of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate and Chris Smith, Co-creator of Tech Savvy Agents.

Chris discussed how traditional branding strategies have changed and why lifestyle branding is critical to your success. Smith revealed mobile tools that help sales associates streamline their business. He also provided 10 reasons why sales associates should be using an iPad for listing presentations, which included an iPad demonstration.
